  • What causes this issue?

    Virus scan server &V1& is not currently active.
    The following message was generated during the connection test:
    "&V2&&V3&&V4&".

    System Response

    Since this server is configured as an "externally started virus scan
    server", the system cannot automatically perform a restert. There is
    therefore no auto-reaction, by default.

    How to fix this error?

    Restart this virus scan server.

    Procedure for System Administrators

    A different MTE class is used in the CCMS for externally started virus
    scan servers (VSCAN_SERVER_STATUS_ACTS instead of
    VSCAN_SERVER_STATUS_ACTV).
    You can therefore define your own auto-reaction method and enter it for
    this MTE class. You can, for example, use this to send a mail or
    trigger an external reaction.

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
