  Meaning / Cause:
  This error occurs when the Sold-to party (customer) is not assigned or maintained for the specified Sales Area (Sales Organization, Distribution Channel, Division) in the system. In other words, the customer master data does not have the sales area data maintained for the combination you are trying to use in a sales document or transaction.
  
  The system checks if the Sold-to party exists and is valid for the sales area.
  If the sales area data is missing in the customer master, the system throws this error.

  Go to transaction XD03 (Display Customer Master).
  Enter the Sold-to party number.
  Check the Sales Area Data tab.
  Verify if the Sales Organization, Distribution Channel, and Division you are using in the sales document exist for this customer.

  Maintain Sales Area Data for the Customer:
  
  Use transaction XD01 (Create Customer) or XD02 (Change Customer).
  Enter the Sold-to party number.
  Add or maintain the missing Sales Area data (Sales Org, Distribution Channel, Division).

  Check if the correct Sold-to party is used:
  
  Sometimes the wrong customer number is entered.
  Verify the customer number and sales area combination.
