  • What causes this issue?

    Characteristic value &V1& is used as hierarchy node &V3& in the
    hierarchy with the name &V2& of the BW system &V4&. As the hierarchy is
    used in an <DS:GLOS.3608C531B9DF1349E10000009B38F91F>aggregate</> ,
    characteristic value &V1& with its hierarchy entry in the BW system &V4&
    <ZH>cannot</> be deleted automatically. You can only delete provided the
    characteristic is no longer being used in a hierarchy.

    System Response

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

    To delete the value &V1& in BW system &V4&, first change and then
    activate hierarchy &V2& so that &V1& is no longer being used.
