How to fix this error?

Do not enter lower-case letters.
The characteristic is also saved in BW. There you can specify that no
lower-case letters are permitted by running transaction <AB>RSKC</>
(Maintain Permitted Characters) and entering the constant
<LB>ALL_CAPITAL</>.
