What causes this issue?

The value &V2& is invalid for characteristic &V1&.

System Response

You cannot save the characteristic without changing the value.

How to fix this error?

Do not enter lower-case letters.
The characteristic is also saved in BW. There you can specify that no
lower-case letters are permitted by running transaction <AB>RSKC</>
(Maintain Permitted Characters) and entering the constant
<LB>ALL_CAPITAL</>.

Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
