meaning that a permitted transition is defined between these two roles.
The validity of the BP roles may not overlap. Since a transition between
the BP roles exists, the validity start of the BP role &V3& can however
be directly adjacent to the validity end of the BP role &V1&; or the
validity end of the BP role &V3& can be directly adjacent to the
validity start of the BP role &V1&.
