  • What causes this issue?

It is not possible to process the BP role &V1& with the validity
&V2& to &V3&, as it is contained along with the BP role &V4& in a role
exclusion group, which means that both roles either overlap or are
adjacent with regard to their validity, and no transitions are defined
between the BP roles &V1& and &V4&.

    System Response

The system issues an error message.

    How to fix this error?

    The following possibilities exist:
Define transitions between the BP roles &V1& and &V4&, if this
complements from a business point of view the usage of the BP roles
    in processes.
Choose the performance assistant <LS>Customizing</> in the toolbar
in order to navigate to the relevant Customizing.
Choose the validity of the BP role &V1& or &V4& in such a way that their
validity does not overlap, so that the validity start of the BP role
&V1& is greater than the validity end of the BP role &V4& plus
one day, or the validity end of the BP role &V1& is smaller than the
validity start of the BP role &V4& minus one day.
Choose the validity of a BP role in such a way that the validity of the
other BP role falls completely within the validity period of the first
BP role. In this way the other BP role in each case is deleted .
