At least one short text must exist for the specified master inspection
characteristic or inspection method.
This message can also appear when master inspection characteristics or
inspection methods are created using ALE. In this case, a transfer
error or an inconsistency in the source system (sending system from
which the master inspection characteristic/inspection method was sent)
can be responsible for the error.

System Response

The system cannot save the master inspection characteristic/inspection
method.

How to fix this error?

Check the data in the sending system, correct this if necessary, and
then resend the master inspection characteristic or inspection method
to the target system using ALE.
