Message type: E = Error
Message class: PO - Spooler message
Message number: 826
Message text: A log is always generated for output device &1
One of the following debugging options was activated in the output
device definition:
Print command for host spool
The first 10 kBytes of the print output
The first 100 kBytes of the print output
Tracking resource control
This means a log with data is created for every output request. As logs
are saved as further spool requests, an additional spool request is
required for every output request. This can lead to problems if the
full capacity of the spool system is used. Creating the log also takes
up time, which affects the spool work process's performance.
Only activate this option if you explictly want to follow the output of
this device for test purposes. Otherwise it should remain deactivated.
