  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

Business volume data exists for a condition record that belongs to
    arrangement &V1&.
As a result, the arrangement cannot be deleted from the database.

    System Response

The condition records of arrangement &V1& are flagged for deletion.
This ensures that they are no longer used in price determination.
However, statistical updating of business volume continues until
settlement accounting is performed again for the arrangement.

    How to fix this error?

Perform settlement accounting for arrangement &V1& on settlement date
    &V2& to deactivate it.
In settlement accounting, it is possible that only the existing
provisions for income are reversed and the arrangement is assigned the
    status 'Final settlement effected'.
Final settlement accounting can be performed any time before the end of
    the validity period &V2&.
If necessary, the deletion flag can be removed. However, in this case,
business volume data may be lost. This can be reposted using the
    'Subsequent business volume update' function.

    Cause:

This error usually arises when you attempt to delete a business volume record that has associated data still present in the system. The deletion flags may be set, indicating that the record is marked for deletion, but the system prevents the actual deletion because there are still dependencies or related data that exist.

    Solution:

To resolve this error, you can follow these steps:

    1. Check Dependencies: Investigate the business volume data that is still linked to the record you are trying to delete. You may need to review related tables or entries that reference the data.

      • Deleting related transactions or entries.
      • Adjusting configurations or settings that are linked to the business volume data.
    3. Use Transaction Codes: Depending on your SAP version and configuration, you may use specific transaction codes to manage business volume data. For example, you might use transaction codes like:

      • NAA1 for managing business volume data.
      • NAA2 for displaying business volume data.
      • NAA3 for deleting business volume data.
    4. Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or help resources for specific guidance on handling business volume data and the implications of deletion flags.

    • Business Volume Data: This refers to the data that tracks business transactions, volumes, or metrics within SAP. It is often used in reporting and analytics.
    • Deletion Flags: These are indicators set in the system to mark records for deletion without immediately removing them from the database. This allows for a review period or rollback if necessary.
    • Data Integrity: SAP systems enforce data integrity rules to ensure that related data is not inadvertently lost or corrupted, which is why deletion may be restricted in certain scenarios.
