Message text: Call can no longer be skipped
You have tried to skip a date that has already been called.
Since maintenance call objects, for example,
<DS:GLOS.maintenance_order>maintenance orders</>, already exist for the
dates that have been called, you can no longer skip a date within the
scheduling process.
If you do not want to perform the maintenance call objects due on that
date, you must reverse the orders that have been called.
You can select the maintenance call objects that have been called using
the list editing functions in maintenance processing.

IP405
- Call can no longer be skipped ?The SAP error message IP405 ("Call can no longer be skipped") typically occurs in the context of the SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) module, particularly when dealing with maintenance plans and scheduling. This error indicates that a maintenance call (or work order) cannot be skipped because it is either due or has already been processed in a way that prevents it from being skipped.
Causes:
- Due Maintenance Call: The maintenance call is due and cannot be skipped as it is part of the scheduled maintenance activities.
- Work Order Status: The work order associated with the maintenance call may have already been released or processed, making it impossible to skip.
- Scheduling Issues: There may be issues with the scheduling parameters or settings that prevent the call from being skipped.
- Dependencies: There may be dependencies on other maintenance calls or work orders that need to be completed first.
Solutions:
- Check Maintenance Call Status: Review the status of the maintenance call in question. If it is due, you may need to process it rather than skip it.
- Review Work Order: Check if the associated work order has been released or completed. If it has, you cannot skip the call.
- Adjust Scheduling Parameters: If you believe the call should be skippable, review the scheduling parameters in the maintenance plan to ensure they are set correctly.
