  • What causes this issue?

The contract for personnel number &V1& is not reported, because none of
the five reasons of the decision tree were applicable.
    The five reasons are:
The member of staff is on an <ZH>open ended contract </>and
<ZH>academic FTE is greater than or equal to 25%</>, regardless as to
wether they have actually worked for the full academic year.
The member of staff is on a <ZH>fixed-length contract</> of greater or
equal to <ZH>one year in duration</>, and their acdemic FTE is greater
than or equal to 25% on that contract, regardless as to whether they
have actually worked for the full academic year.
The member of staff is on a <ZH>fixed-length contract </>of less than
one year in duration, and their academic FTE on that contract
multiplied by the duration of the fixe-term contract (expressed as
proportion of a year, not necessarily the return year) is greater than
    or equal to 25%.
The member of staff has left an appointment during the return year, but
their academic FTE on that contract multiplied by the duration of the
appointment (expressed as a proportion of the return year) was greater
than or equal to 25% i.e. if <DS:DE.P08_HESA_PERACA>percentage time
academic</> times percentage FTE >= 25%, then a full record should be
returned for that member of staff, including 'leaving information' in
fields date left a HESA returnable appointment and destination on
    leaving.
The member of staff has left an appointment during the return year and
their academic FTE on that contract multiplied by the duration of the
appointment (expressed as a proportion of the return year) was less
than 25% i.e. if percentage time academic times percentage FTE < 25%,
but the member of staff waws returned to HESA in the preceding return
without 'leaving information', then a full. record should be returned
including 'leaving information' in fields date left a HESA returnable
    appointment and destination on leaving.

    System Response

This contract has been excluded from the HESA Individual Staff return.
