  • What causes this issue?

    If changes to the basic pay (infotype <LS>0008</>) are made mid-month in
    a period from &V1& to &V2& within the maternity protection period, the
    system calculates the supplement to maternity pay based on the
    relationships of the last day. Therefore, the system does not perfom a
    proportional calculation of the supplement to maternity pay with regard
    to the various basic pay within this period.

    How to fix this error?

    To obtain the correct supplement to maternity pay in this case, enter
    the supplement to maternity pay (model wage type <LS>O450</>) manually
    for the whole period of the maternity protection period using the <LS>
    Recurring Payments/Deductions</> infotype (0014) or the <LS>Additional
    Payments</> infotype (0015).

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
