    Perform the following prerequisite steps:
    Create an organizational structure.
    Assign at least one legal entity to this structure.
    In the Legal Properties (1655) infotype, set up one of the legal
    entities in the structure as a head unit.

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    Attach to this structure the organizational unit in which you want to
    create the personnel assigment.
