CRM_SC002
- If the EOM scenario is active, APO cannot be used ?The SAP error message CRM_SC002 indicates that there is a conflict between the use of the Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO) module and the End-of-Month (EOM) scenario in the SAP Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. This error typically arises when the EOM scenario is active, which restricts the use of APO functionalities.
Cause:
The primary cause of this error is that the EOM scenario is designed to lock certain processes and data to ensure that end-of-month financial and operational reporting is accurate. When this scenario is active, it prevents the use of APO functionalities that may alter or interfere with the data being processed for the end of the month.
Solution:
To resolve the CRM_SC002 error, you can consider the following steps:
Deactivate the EOM Scenario: If it is feasible and does not conflict with your business processes, you can deactivate the EOM scenario temporarily to allow the use of APO functionalities. This can typically be done in the configuration settings of the CRM system.
Check APO Settings: Ensure that the APO settings are correctly configured and that they align with the current business processes. If APO is not required during the EOM period, you may want to adjust the planning settings accordingly.
Consult Documentation: Review the SAP documentation related to the EOM scenario and APO integration. This can provide insights into best practices and any specific configurations that may be necessary.
Coordinate with Stakeholders: If the EOM scenario is critical for your operations, coordinate with relevant stakeholders (e.g., finance, operations) to determine the best approach to manage the conflict between EOM and APO.
SAP Support: If the issue persists or if you need further assistance, consider reaching out to SAP support for guidance tailored to your specific system configuration and business requirements.
Related Information:
By following these steps, you should be able to address the CRM_SC002 error and ensure that your SAP system operates smoothly during the EOM period while still leveraging APO functionalities when needed.
