CRM_ROUTING_GROUP016
- Node cannot be deleted ?The SAP error message CRM_ROUTING_GROUP016 indicates that a node in a routing cannot be deleted. This typically occurs in the context of SAP CRM (Customer Relationship Management) when you are trying to modify or delete a routing that is still in use or has dependencies.
Causes:
- Dependencies: The node you are trying to delete may have dependent objects or relationships that prevent its deletion. For example, if the node is linked to other nodes or processes, it cannot be removed until those links are severed.
- Status of the Node: The node might be in a status that does not allow deletion. For instance, if it is marked as "active" or "in use," it cannot be deleted.
- Authorization Issues: You may not have the necessary permissions to delete the node, which can trigger this error.
- System Configuration: There may be system settings or configurations that restrict the deletion of certain nodes.
Solutions:
- Check Dependencies: Review the routing structure to identify any dependencies associated with the node. You may need to delete or modify these dependencies before attempting to delete the node.
- Change Node Status: If the node is in a status that prevents deletion, consider changing its status to a permissible one (e.g., inactive) before attempting to delete it.
- Review Authorizations: Ensure that you have the necessary authorizations to delete the node. If not, contact your system administrator to obtain the required permissions.
- Use Transaction Codes: Utilize relevant transaction codes (like CRMD_ORDER or CRMD_ORDERADM_H) to navigate to the routing and check for any issues or dependencies.
- Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or help resources for specific guidelines on managing routing nodes and their deletion.
