Message text: The maximum number of hierarchy levels in plan/campaign has been reached
The table that was imported and which contains the hierarchy structure
of the marketing plan or marketing campaign, is to be converted into a
CRM-specific structure. However, the maximum number of hierarchy levels
has been exceeded.
An endless loop may have caused this error. This can happen if a plan
or campaign element has its own subordinate (child) element as a
superordinate (parent) element. This is not permitted.
Example:
-- Element 1 (superordinate element: Element 2)
+--- Element 2 (superordinate element: Element 1)
Proceed as follows, depending on the cause of the error:
If the external tool transfers the hierarchy information incorrectly,
consult the manufacturer of the external tool
If, in the BADI, the hierarchy information is incorrectly placed in the
table, check the implementation of the BADI.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
