    In an item that is controlled by the SC, the object list entries could
    also be controlled by the SC. In the present case, the SC triggered the
    creation of an object list entry, but the object list entry was not
    created. This is mainly caused by one of the following reasons:
    The item category for this item could not be determined or was
    deleted. An item without an item category has no item object type as an
    attribute. Without item object type, it is not possible to create object
    list entries.
    The item has a valid item category, but the Customizing settings that
    are assigned to the item object type do not allow the creation of object
    list entries for this item.

    System Response

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

    Either select a valid item category or maintain the Customizing to
    activate object list entries for the current item object type.
