SAP Error Message - Details

  • Message type: E = Error

  • Message number: 628

  • Message text: Missing infotype SMP/SAP/SPP record;no check for change of pers. calendar

  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

This employee does not have the correct subtype record for infotype
<ZK>SMP/SAP/SPP GB </>(0088), valid for the period for which you are
trying to create this statutory absence.
The type of statutory absence you wish to create (for example, Statutory
Adoption Leave), can only be created where a respective infotype 0088
subtype record (for example, <ZK>SAP </>) exists.

    System Response

The SAP System does not allow you to save this absence.

    How to fix this error?

You should check that this employee has a infotype <ZK>SMP/SAP/SPP GB
</>(0088) record. If there is a record, check its validity, and make
sure you only create an infotype <ZK>Absences </>(2001) record that has
been customised as a statutory absence,<ZK> </>within the validity date
    range of that record.
If there is no record, create an infotype 0088 record for this employee.
This infotype record must always be in place before you can create a
statutory absence record in infotype 2001.
Check that the absence customising in table <ZK>Attendance and Absence
Types (</>T554S) is correct, and that the absence type corresponds to
the infotype <ZK>SMP/SAP/SPP GB </>(0088) record for this employee.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How can this happen?

An employee has given notice of intention to take Statutory Paternity
Leave, for the expected birth of a child. Before creating a statutory
paternity absence record in infotype 2001, you must ensure that an
infotype 0088 record with subtype <ZK>SPPB </>is created for this
    absence.
You can then create paternity absences (within the validity of the
    infotype 0088 record) in infotype <ZK>Absences </>(2001).
