• Description: A set of rules defined in Customizing for Account Management used to automate the processing of mass payment transactions and to control further processing when problems occur during the posting of payment items. Using the main set of rules of the posting control rules, the system determines the first and final system response that is to be executed when posting problems arise, depending on the error type, type of payment item, transaction type group, product, posting control group, and sending application. The possible responses are post, postprocess, reallocate, redirect/transfer post, return, reject, and reverse final response only. If the first response is postprocess, reallocate, or redirect to a CpD suspense account, a posting control order is created automatically for processing further in the Posting Control Office, provided this is active. If applicable, this is where the final response is triggered.
