XT658
- Request &1 already completely imported ?The SAP error message XT658 "Request &1 already completely imported" typically occurs during the transport of changes between different SAP systems (e.g., from a development system to a quality assurance or production system). This message indicates that the transport request you are trying to import has already been fully imported into the target system.
Cause:
- Duplicate Import Attempt: The transport request has already been processed and all its objects have been imported into the target system.
- Transport Logs: The transport logs may indicate that the request was successfully imported, and the system is preventing a duplicate import to maintain data integrity.
- Transport Directory Issues: There may be inconsistencies in the transport directory or the transport management system.
Solution:
- Check Transport Logs: Review the transport logs to confirm that the request has indeed been imported. You can do this by using transaction code
STMS
and checking the import history.- Verify Request Status: Use transaction code
SE01
orSE09
to check the status of the transport request. If it shows as "Completed," you do not need to import it again.- Import Only New Requests: Ensure that you are only attempting to import transport requests that have not yet been imported.
- Re-import if Necessary: If you believe the import was not successful or if there were issues, you may need to delete the request from the import queue and re-import it. However, be cautious with this approach as it may lead to inconsistencies.
- Consult Basis Team: If you are unsure or if the issue persists, consult your SAP Basis team for assistance. They can help troubleshoot the transport management system and resolve any underlying issues.
