including the document for which the budget is to be procured.
The display of OTB data, such as the available budget in a budget
bucket or the OTB status of the document, therefore does not necessarily
correspond to the current database status.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

- Simulation carried out again because of changed data ?The SAP error message WRF_PRC_OTB300 typically indicates that a simulation process in the SAP system was re-executed due to changes in the underlying data. This can occur in various contexts, such as when working with pricing, forecasting, or other planning-related functions in SAP.
Cause:
- Data Changes: The most common cause of this error is that some data relevant to the simulation has been modified after the initial simulation was run. This could include changes to master data, transaction data, or configuration settings.
- Concurrent Processes: If multiple users or processes are working on the same data set, one user's changes may trigger a re-evaluation of the simulation.
- Configuration Settings: Certain settings in the SAP system may dictate that simulations must be re-evaluated when specific data changes occur.
Solution:
- Review Changes: Check the data that has been modified since the last simulation. This may involve looking at transaction logs or change documents to identify what has changed.
- Re-run Simulation: After reviewing the changes, you may need to re-run the simulation to ensure that the results reflect the most current data.
- Locking Mechanisms: If concurrent processes are causing issues, consider implementing locking mechanisms or coordinating with other users to avoid simultaneous changes.
- Configuration Review: If this message appears frequently, review the configuration settings related to simulations to determine if adjustments can be made to reduce unnecessary re-evaluations.
