What causes this issue?

You have selected several lines to get the related single articles that
should be converted into variants. Only the work item lines within your
selection will be considered. However<(>,<)> you also selected some
other lines containing items that have to be ignored for the following
reasons<(>,<)> and so cannot be converted:
Item is locked by the purchasing list
Item contains an article that already exists in the database
Item contains an article with an article category different from the
single article

System Response

Only lines containing new single articles that are not locked by the
purchasing list can be considered. The invalid lines have been removed
automatically from your selection.

How to fix this error?

You can convert only those single articles retrieved from valid items.

Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
