  • What causes this issue?

The selected deliveries do not satisfy the prerequisites for creating a
    picking wave.

    System Response

To create a picking wave, the following conditions must be met:
All deliveries involved must be within one warehouse number. In other
words, at least one item in the delivery must refer to a warehouse
number and all other items must have either the same warehouse number
or no warehouse number. In this case, the field for the warehouse
number in the delivery header contains the entry.
All deliveries involved must refer to the same warehouse number, which
in turn must correspond to the warehouse number used as the group was
    created.

    How to fix this error?

To use the delivery list to create picking waves, you should enter the
warehouse number as a selection criterion and select the check at
header level. Then, the search automatically selects only deliveries
    within one warehouse number.

Here’s a breakdown of the cause, potential solutions, and related information:

    Cause:

    1. Delivery Status: The delivery may not be in a status that allows it to be included in a picking wave. For example, if the delivery is already picked, packed, or has been canceled, it cannot be assigned to a new picking wave.
    2. Picking Wave Configuration: The picking wave may have specific criteria that the delivery does not meet, such as delivery type, shipping point, or other parameters defined in the wave configuration.
    3. Wave Assignment: The delivery might already be assigned to another picking wave, or there may be restrictions on how many deliveries can be included in a single wave.
    4. Warehouse Management Settings: There may be settings in the Warehouse Management (WM) module that restrict the inclusion of certain deliveries in picking waves based on predefined rules.

    Solutions:

    1. Check Delivery Status: Verify the status of the delivery in question. Ensure that it is in a state that allows it to be included in a picking wave (e.g., not already picked or canceled).
    2. Review Picking Wave Criteria: Check the configuration of the picking wave to ensure that the delivery meets all necessary criteria. This includes checking the delivery type, shipping point, and any other relevant parameters.
    3. Reassign Deliveries: If the delivery is already assigned to another picking wave, consider reassigning it or creating a new picking wave that includes the delivery.
    4. Adjust Warehouse Management Settings: If necessary, consult with your SAP WM configuration team to review and adjust any settings that may be preventing the delivery from being included in a picking wave.
    5. Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or help resources for specific details on the picking wave process and any related configuration settings.
