What causes this issue?

The work center-dependent settings should be saved under a new work
center ID. The old settings must be deleted and created again with the
new work center ID. An error occurred while the old settings were being
deleted and as a result, the settings could not be deleted.

Function canceled.

How to fix this error?

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
