Message number: 300
Message text: Cannot keep the relationship between Operation &1 and Operation &2
Operation &V1& has a relationship to Operation &V2&. Depending on
whether it is a finish-start (FS) or a start-start (SS) relationship,
the following applies:
Operation &V2& can only start after Operation &V1& has ended
Operation &V2& can only start once Operation &V1& has started
If you dispatch the operations as currently scheduled, the relationship
will be broken.
The app schedules the operation for the selected start day, without
taking the relationship into account.
If you want to keep the relationship between the operations, set a new
start date for Operation &V2&. Depending on the start date of the
predecessor, you may have to remove the successor operation from this
week's schedule.
You can also select the related operations and use automatic scheduling.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

RSH_LVLING_CONFLICTS300
- Cannot keep the relationship between Operation &1 and Operation &2 ?The SAP error message RSH_LVLING_CONFLICTS300 indicates that there is a conflict in the relationship between two operations in a project or production order. This typically occurs in the context of scheduling and leveling operations in SAP's Project System (PS) or Production Planning (PP) modules.
Cause:
The error arises when the system detects that the relationship between two operations (Operation &1 and Operation &2) cannot be maintained due to conflicting scheduling constraints. This can happen for several reasons, including:
- Overlapping Dates: The start and finish dates of the operations overlap in a way that violates the defined relationships (e.g., Finish-to-Start, Start-to-Start).
- Resource Constraints: The same resource is assigned to both operations, and the scheduling does not allow for simultaneous use.
- Incorrect Dependencies: The dependencies between operations may not be correctly defined, leading to conflicts in the scheduling logic.
- Capacity Issues: There may be insufficient capacity in the work center to accommodate both operations at the scheduled times.
Solution:
To resolve the error, you can take the following steps:
- Check Operation Dates: Review the start and finish dates of both operations. Ensure that they do not overlap in a way that violates the relationship.
- Review Dependencies: Check the dependencies between the operations. Make sure that the relationships (e.g., Finish-to-Start) are correctly defined and logical.
- Adjust Scheduling: If there are resource constraints, consider rescheduling one of the operations to a different time or adjusting the resources assigned to each operation.
- Capacity Planning: Ensure that the work center has enough capacity to handle both operations. If necessary, adjust the capacity or the scheduling of the operations.
- Use the Scheduling Tool: Utilize SAP's scheduling tools to analyze and resolve conflicts. The tool can help visualize the operations and their relationships, making it easier to identify issues.
