  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

The material specification contains an inconsistency for the following
    reason:
A batch class was assigned to the material. You assigned master
inspection characteristics to the class characteristics in the material
specification. Afterwards, you either deleted the batch class in the
the material or you assigned another batch class with different class
    characteristics.
In the material specification file there can therefore be data records
that still refer to class characteristics that do not exist in the new
    batch class.

    System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

Confirm the message, or first check the batch class that is assigned to
    the material.
