  • What causes this issue?

A value &v1& was transferred to inspection lot creation for the field
QALS-ANZGEB (number of containers). This value is too large. The
    maximum allowed value is 999,999.

    System Response

    Inspection lot creation is cancelled.

    How to fix this error?

A value that is too large for the field QALS-ANZGEB (number of
containers) cannot be entered manually. Therefore, a value that is too
large must be due to automatic populatation of the field. The field is
automatically populated, for example, during inspection lot creation
for the handling units. When the inbound delivery is packaged, the
number of containers in the inspection lot is determined in the program
on the basis of the number of handling units that are part of the
    delivery item.
To avoid this error, you can do the following:
You can split up the inbound delivery, so that there are not more than
999 handling units in one item.
You can use the consulting note 522292 to correct the automatically
determined value and make it an allowed value. This is done in the
framework of automatic lot creation using a customer enhancement. This
prevents the error message QA 321.
