  • What causes this issue?

You have specified the name and author of an XDC file for the current
printer. XDC files are required by the ADS server to print IFbA forms
    (SAP Interactive Forms by Adobe).
XDC files delivered with the ADS server contain a space as an indicator
for the author (Default = Adobe). XDC files adjusted by SAP contain the
indicator "S", and XDC files created by the customer contain the ID "C"
    (Customer).

    System Response

The system attempted to obtain the list of the XDC files installed on
the standard ADS server. However, the standard ADS server that is active
in this system does not support a query of this type. It is therefore
not possible to check whether this XDC file is valid.

    How to fix this error?

If you are sure that the XDC file exists on the ADS server used to print
IFbA forms, you can press ENTER to continue.
Otherwise, delete the entire input field (in this case, the XDC file
assigned by default by the device type is used), and contact your system
administrator to determine which XDC files are valid.

    Procedure for System Administrators

By default, the following XDC files exist on every ADS server for print
    output:
    hppcl5c.xdc (PCL-5 color)
    hppcl5e.xdc (PCL-5 monochrome)
    ps_plain.xdc (PostScript level 2)
    ps_plain_level3.xdc (PostScript level 3)
    zpl203.xdc (ZPL-2 203 dpi)
    zpl300.xdc (ZPL-2 300 dpi)
    zpl600.xdc (ZPL-2 600 dpi)

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

There is a new tool (report RSPOXDCWIZARD) that can support you in
    creating modified XDC files.
