Message class: PK - Production - KANBAN
Message number: 192
Message text: Strategy not allowed for stge location that is included in planning
Only the strategies that specify that material flow is controlled via
the kanban and that cause the creation of the replenishment (for
example, creation of run schedule quantities or purchase orders) are
allowed.
The strategy is only allowed if the material in the storage location
allocated to the supply area has been excluded from the planning run.
Either choose another strategy or assign the material to a storage
location MRP area which you then exclude from the planning run by
setting the MRP type to <ZK>ND</>. If no storage location MRP area
exists, you have to create one.

- Strategy not allowed for stge location that is included in planning ?The SAP error message PK192 ("Strategy not allowed for storage location that is included in planning") typically occurs in the context of production planning and inventory management. This error indicates that there is a mismatch between the planning strategy defined for a material and the storage location settings in the system.
Cause:
Planning Strategy Mismatch: The material's planning strategy does not align with the settings of the storage location. For example, if the storage location is set up for a specific strategy (like Make-to-Stock or Make-to-Order), but the material is configured with a different strategy, this error will occur.
Storage Location Configuration: The storage location may not be configured to support the planning strategy assigned to the material. This can happen if the storage location is not set up for certain types of inventory management or production processes.
Material Master Data: The material master data may have incorrect or incomplete settings related to the planning strategy or storage location.
Solution:
Check Material Master Data: Review the material master data for the affected material. Ensure that the planning strategy assigned to the material is appropriate for the storage location in question.
Review Storage Location Settings: Check the configuration of the storage location in the system. Ensure that it is set up to support the planning strategy you are trying to use. This may involve checking the configuration in the IMG (Implementation Guide) under Logistics -> Production -> Production Planning -> Master Data -> Material -> Define Planning Strategies.
Adjust Planning Strategy: If necessary, change the planning strategy for the material to one that is compatible with the storage location. This can be done in the material master record.
Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or help resources for specific details on the planning strategies and their compatibility with storage locations.
Testing: After making changes, perform tests to ensure that the error no longer occurs and that the planning process works as expected.
