  • What causes this issue?

    For item &V1& in document &V2&, you want to create/change associations.
    When doing this, associations for preceding items must be taken into
    consideration.

    System Response

    For item &V1& in document &V2&, there are at least 2 preceding items
    that are associated with the same item (document &V3&, item &V4&) and
    for which the associated quantity has not been transferred in full to
    follow-on items.
    As a result, the preceding item from which item &V1& is to take the
    association quantity can no longer be uniquely determined.
    The association cannot be carried out.

    How to fix this error?

    Change the associates for the preceding items so that only one
    preceding item has an associated quantity that has not yet been
    transferred to follow-on items.

    Procedure for System Administrators

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
