    The inspection quantity is less than the original delivery quantity.

    System Response

    The inspected quantity and the original delivery quantity must be equal,
    so the inspection cannot be confirmed.
    This only applies to inspections in the warehouse; inspections by the
    supplier do not require confirmation.

    How to fix this error?

    You can deal with a missing quantity by splitting the inspection item in
    question as follows:
    Enter the actual quantity received for inspection in the first split
    line.
    Enter the missing quantity in the second split line and specify the
    follow-up actitivity <LS>Transfer to Scrap</>.
    The follow-up actitivity <LS>Transfer to Scrap </>is executed for the
    missing quantity and the inventory is balanced. You can then continue
    the inspection process with the reduced quantity, and the returns order
    remains complete.
    Note
    Follow-up activities are not required for inspections by the supplier.

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
