  • What causes this issue?

You have not maintained any indexes for your summarization levels. The
system can create a proposal for indexes based on how you defined the
fields. You can then alter this proposal if you wish.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

Note that the system can only create a proposal if no indexes exist
    yet.
Your field definition must be complete before the system can create a
    useful proposal.

    System Response

When you create a proposal, the system generates up to 6
    single column indexes.

    How to fix this error?

Either maintain indexes yourself or have the system create a
    proposal.
