By selecting the appropriate checkboxes (for example, <LS>Components</>)
when you created the order with reference, you defined that you want the
system to copy operation-dependent objects. However, you did not select

  • What is the cause and solution for SAP error message IW546 - All operations have also been copied to the new order ?

The SAP error message IW546 ("All operations have also been copied to the new order") typically occurs when you are trying to copy a maintenance order or a production order, and the system detects that all operations from the original order are being copied to the new order. This message is more of an informational message rather than an error, indicating that the copying process has completed successfully, but it may not have resulted in any changes to the operations.

    Cause:

    1. Identical Operations: The original order has operations that are identical to those in the new order, leading the system to conclude that there is no need to change or modify the operations.
    2. Copying Process: The copying process is designed to replicate all relevant data from the original order to the new order, and in this case, it has found that all operations are the same.

    Solution:

    1. Review Operations: Check the operations in both the original and new orders to ensure that they are indeed intended to be the same. If you want to modify any operations, you may need to do so manually after the copy.
    2. Modify the Copying Parameters: If you want to exclude certain operations or modify how they are copied, you may need to adjust the parameters in the copying process or use a different method to create the new order.
    3. Manual Adjustments: After copying, you can manually add, remove, or modify operations in the new order as needed.
