create the serial number.

How to fix this error?

Enter the material for which the serial number is to be created.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

If you want to assign an external serial number, enter the number in
the field <LS>Serial number</>, otherwise the system will assign the
next free numerical serial number for the material.
