  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

According to the Customizing settings, the attendance/absence &V1&
permits only partial-day records, that is, attendances/absences that do
not span an entire workday, such as a doctor's appointment.

    System Response

The system recognizes partial-day attendances and absences from the fact
that the number of payroll hours is less than the number of planned
hours of the work schedule variant <ZH>applying to that day</>.
Partial-day absences (for example, with clock times) entered for a
<zh>non-working day</> are automatically evaluated as whole-day absences
since the number of planned hours for that day is zero. You therefore
cannot save the current infotype record, because in this case the number
of payroll hours is not less than the number of planned working hours of
    the applicable work schedule.

    How to fix this error?

Check the Customizing settings for the relevant attendance or absence
and for partial-day records to check whether the day has a work schedule
    has zero planned working hours.
