- The data entered may be overwritten by the next replication. ?The SAP error message HRSFEC_SERVICES252 indicates that there is a potential issue with data consistency during the replication process in the SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) module. This error typically arises when there is a conflict between the data being entered in the system and the data that is about to be replicated from another source, such as an external system or another module within SAP.
Cause:
- Data Conflict: The error usually occurs when the data you are trying to enter or modify in the system is at risk of being overwritten by incoming data from a replication process. This can happen if the replication is scheduled to occur shortly after your data entry.
- Timing Issues: If the replication process is set to run frequently, there may be a timing issue where the data you are entering is not yet saved or committed before the replication occurs.
- Configuration Issues: There may be configuration settings in the replication process that are not aligned with the data entry processes.
Solution:
- Check Replication Schedule: Review the schedule for the replication process. If it runs frequently, consider adjusting the timing to allow for data entry to be completed before replication occurs.
- Save Data First: Ensure that you save any data entries before the replication process is triggered. This may involve waiting for the replication to complete before making changes.
- Review Data Entry: Double-check the data you are entering to ensure it is correct and does not conflict with existing data that may be replicated.
- Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or support resources for specific guidance on handling this error in your version of SAP SuccessFactors.
- Contact Support: If the issue persists, consider reaching out to SAP support for assistance. They can provide insights based on your specific configuration and usage of the system.
