  • What causes this issue?

The insurance number is dependent on the date of birth. A different
birth date was stored in the master data when the employee was
registered for the first time than at the time when the complete
insurance number was confirmed by the supplementary pension institute
    (such as VBL).

    System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

What happened in the system up until this error message:
In infotype 0002, an incorrect (or simply an unknown) date of birth is
    mistakenly entered.
The infotype 0051 is created using this date of birth and is used for
    the initial insurance number.
Payroll is run and the notification report is run. The notification
report creates the first registration with an incomplete insurance
    number.
The employee informs the personnel department of his or her correct date
    of birth.
The date of birth is corrected in infotype 0002.
    This error message appears because
    Payroll was run
The notification report was started, or
The complete insurance number was reported back by the SPI and the
system tried to enter this number in infotype 0051.
What you need to do now:
In infotype 0002 (Personal Data), change the date of birth back to the
original (and incorrect) date of birth.
In infotype 0051, enhance the complete insurance number, which is now
incorrect due to the new date of birth.
Start the notification report. In this way, the confirmation of the
complete (but currently incorrect) insurance number is communicated to
    the system (notification status 39).
In infotype 0002, change the date of birth again back to the correct
    date of birth.
In infotype 0051 (SPI Data), change the insurance number to the
corresponding entries (for VBL, the (new) date of birth is a six-digit
number DDMMYY), thus deleting the incorrect (but complete) insurance
    number.
In the next notification run, a corresponding correction notification is
    sent to the SPI.
The SPI then assigns a new and complete insurance number.
