  • What is the cause and solution for SAP error message HRPAYDEEH713 - There is still dependent data in infotype &1 subtype &2 ?

The SAP error message HRPAYDEEH713 indicates that there is still dependent data in a specific infotype and subtype that prevents you from making changes or deletions to that infotype record. This is a common issue in SAP HR (Human Resources) when trying to modify or delete employee data.

    Cause:

The error occurs when you attempt to delete or change an infotype record (e.g., personal data, payroll data) that has dependent data linked to it. For example, if you are trying to delete an infotype record for an employee, but there are other records (like payroll, benefits, or other infotypes) that rely on that record, SAP will prevent the action to maintain data integrity.

    Solution:

To resolve this error, you can follow these steps:

    1. Identify Dependent Data:

      • Use transaction code PA20 (Display HR Master Data) or PA30 (Maintain HR Master Data) to check the infotype and subtype mentioned in the error message.
      • Look for any dependent infotypes that may be linked to the infotype you are trying to modify or delete.
    2. Review Related Infotypes:

      • Check for infotypes that are typically dependent on the one you are trying to change. For example, if you are trying to delete infotype 0000 (Actions), you may need to check infotype 0001 (Organizational Assignment) or 0002 (Personal Data) for any dependencies.
    3. Delete or Modify Dependent Records:

      • If you find dependent records, you may need to delete or modify those records first before you can proceed with your original action. Ensure that you have the necessary authorizations to make these changes.
    4. Consult Documentation:

      • Refer to SAP documentation or your organization's HR policies for guidance on handling specific infotypes and their dependencies.
    5. Seek Help from SAP Support:

      • If you are unable to resolve the issue, consider reaching out to your SAP support team or consulting SAP Notes for any known issues related to this error.

    Related Information:

    • Infotypes: In SAP HR, infotypes are data structures used to store employee-related information. Each infotype has a specific purpose and can have various subtypes.
    • Data Integrity: SAP enforces data integrity rules to ensure that all related data remains consistent. This is crucial in HR systems where employee data is interconnected.
    • Transaction Codes: Familiarize yourself with relevant transaction codes such as PA20, PA30, and PA40 (for actions) to navigate HR data effectively.

By following these steps, you should be able to identify and resolve the issue causing the HRPAYDEEH713 error message.
