Message text: Tax liability of increase not calculated due to one-time payment
In rule <DS:HRDS.DSYSLO_ECDCYCL_DATPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA___1VVV>DATP</>, the
system checks whether supplements to semiretirement pay are taxable. The
supplements are only taxable if the sum total of supplement and
part-time net amount exceed the net amount that a full-time employee
would receive.
If non-recurring payments are made, tax liability must be determined by
comparing the "projected annual net amount" for full-time and part-time
(see employment tax guidelines 2002 R18 and the sample calculation in
the comments for R18). The "projected full-time annual amount" is not
calculated in the SAP system, however.
If the monthly net amounts for full time and part time were compared,
this would normally result in a too-high tax liability if non-recurring
payments are made. For this reason, if non-recurring payments were made,
the tax-liable portion of the supplement is not calculated
automatically. Instead, a warning message is output in the payroll log
if the monthly comparison approach determines tax liability for the
supplement.
No automatic calculation of tax liability for semiretirement
supplements.
Check whether a tax liability exists. If necessary, specify the
tax-liable amount manually (model wage type
<DS:HRDS.DSYSLO_ECDWTYP_MH15AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA01_1VVV>MH15</>).
