What causes this issue?

The PAE solution uses international payroll simulation functionality in
the reports RPCPAEG0, RPCPAEG2 and MP329700.
The PAE solution only needs the payroll simulation and does not expect
the payroll variant customised to generate a payslip.
Before the introduction of this note the PAE solution was re-using the
feature PM004, but this was not a good idea for customers that were
already using the "Display Payslip" pushbutton on the Basic Pay Infotype
(0008) as that solution needs to generate a payslip as well as perform a
payroll simulation. So the two solutions were in conflict.
After the introduction of the note 1836763 the PAE solution no longer
uses feature PM0004 and instead uses feature GBAE8.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
