Message text: Spouse approval missing for beneficiary selection for plan &
The policy of plan &V1& requires that the spouse give his/her approval
before the employee can enroll other beneficiaries. Spouse approval is
recorded by entering the approval date. In this case, either approval
has not been given or the approval date is after the start date of
participation.
The system does not allow you to enroll beneficiaries other than the
spouse in the plan &V1&.
Check whether the employee's spouse has approved the enrollment of
other benefiiciaries. If so, enter the date of the approval. Otherwise,
the spouse is the sole beneficiary. If the spouse approval date is
after the begin date of participation, you might consider splitting the
record into two; one record for the period before approval was given
(with the spouse as the sole beneficiary), the other for the period
starting from the spouse approval date (with all desired
beneficiaries).
