SAP Error Message - Details

  • Message class: GR - Report Writer

  • Message number: 570

  • Message text: Report & does not support language &

  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

When you generate a report group, the system only takes into account
those languages defined during system configuration in addition to the
current logon language. You cannot then execute the report group in a
    different language.

    System Response

The system uses the language-dependent parameters of the generation
language to edit the reports. Processing is continued, but can give
    unexpected results.

    How to fix this error?

If you need reports in other languages, you must first define them
in configuration. Since the time needed to process reports
increases with the number of languages, you should only define those
languages which you actually require. After configuring the system, you
must maintain the texts in the new languages for the desired reports.
The standard layouts used must also be created in these languages.
Afterwards, you must regenerate the relevant report groups.
