What causes this issue?

You are executing a report group with variants and want to write an
extract for it. However, an index entry cannot be made for each
variation report.

System Response

One index entry is made for the entire extract.
The extract is only then available for a new selection if you execute
the report group with exactly the same selection criteria you used to
create the extract.

How to fix this error?

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
