  • What causes this issue?

    The program cannot be run with the selection variant selected, since
    the use of layout &V1& is not possible here. Either layout &V1& was
    created for a specific user as &V2& by another user, or layout &V1& was
    created for the <DS:GLOS.6C945517D592D3119B4A0060B0671ACC>ALV Grid
    Control</> and not for the
    <DS:GLOS.3526B5ACAFAB52B9E10000009B38F974>ALV</> or vice versa.

    System Response

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

    Either use a selection variant without a layout or one that is set up
    for you as a user and for use with ALV or the ALV Grid Controls.
    Otherwise, restart the transaction and from the initial screen choose
    Extras -> Settings. Select a layout that can be used with the program.
