  • What causes this issue?

    The current data record contains the characteristic value &V2& for
    characteristic &V1&. This is identical to the default value.
    However, this characteristic is assigned to item &V3& as a required
    breakdown, for which the default value set is not accepted as an
    explicit breakdown.

    System Response

    The system cannot process the current data record.

    How to fix this error?

    Make sure that the default value for breakdown characteristic &V1&
    should be invalid on item &V3&. In this case, ensure that no data
    records contain characteristic value &V2&.
    Otherwise, allow the system to use the default value by assigning
    another breakdown type. Note that these settings can be made dependent
    on the consolidation chart of accounts and the version.

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
