    The breakdown type for characteristic &V1& for item &V2& is more
    restrictive as compared to item &V3&. This is invalid, especially if
    item &V2& is at a higher level in the hierarchy than item &V3&, or if
    item &V3& is to be posted to item &V2&.

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    Make sure that no breakdowns are added to the higher-level item or the
    item to be posted, which can not be consistently filled according to
    the breakdown definition of the lower-level item or the triggering
    item.
    The following table shows which breakdown types are allowed at the
    higher or the lower level.
    The first column (preceding the semi-colon) shows the breakdown type of
    the item. The permitted breakdown types of the higher-level item or the
    item to be posted are listed to the right of the semi-colon:
