true if the comparison item is at a higher level of the hierarchy or is
to be posted from the reference item.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Make sure that all of the characteristic values permitted for the
current item also remain valid for the comparison item. A good way of
doing this is by using the same maximum set for both breakdown
categories.
