What causes this issue?

The option <ZK>Check Post Address List Only</> or <ZK>Check Both
Addresses</> in <DS:DE.FMBS_FLG_PO_CHECK>check of posting addresses</>
is not chosen in FM area &V1&, fiscal year &V2&. This means that the
system creates posting addresses and assignments to budget addresses
automatically during the posting of actuals and commitments in FM and
stores them in the budget structure index.
You do not need to maintain the automatically generated posting
addresses manually. However, you can create new entries manually if you
plan to switch on the indicator for checking posting addresses in the
future.

After deleting index entries manually, you can no longer use the
following functionality:
Revenues Increasing Budget
Carry forward residual budget
Reporting for the deleted FM posting addresses

System Response

The system continues processing (after confirmation).

How to fix this error?

Transfer or reverse the postings from the posting addresses that you
intend to delete before you delete them. If you find that any posting
addresses with posting data were deleted unintentionally, you can use
the IMG activity <DS:SIMG._ISPSFM_N_FMBSPO_GEN>Generate Posting
Addresses from Actual Data</> to create them again - with their
assignments to budget addresses - from existing posting data.
