The current utility installation has at least one interval register with
profile values that are stored in an MDUS system (see
<DS:DE.E_AMI_MDUS_LOCATED_PROFILE>Profile Values in External System</>).
Billing simulation with simulation type &V1& is not supported for these
registers (see <DS:DE.SIMULATION>Billing Simulation</>).

EMDUS039
- Simulation type &1 not possible for MDUS-relevant registers ?The SAP error message EMDUS039 indicates that a simulation type specified for MDUS (Meter Data Unification and Synchronization) relevant registers is not possible. This error typically arises in the context of managing meter data, particularly when trying to simulate or process data for registers that are not compatible with the selected simulation type.
Cause:
- Incompatible Simulation Type: The simulation type you are trying to use may not be applicable to the specific MDUS-relevant registers you are working with. Each register may have specific simulation types that are valid for it.
- Configuration Issues: There may be configuration settings in the MDUS module that do not align with the simulation type you are attempting to use.
- Data Integrity Issues: The registers may not have the necessary data or may be in an inconsistent state, preventing the simulation from being executed.
Solution:
- Check Simulation Type: Verify that the simulation type you are trying to use is valid for the specific MDUS-relevant registers. Consult the documentation or configuration settings to ensure compatibility.
- Review Configuration: Check the configuration settings in the MDUS module to ensure that they are set up correctly for the registers you are working with. This may involve reviewing the settings in transaction codes related to MDUS configuration.
- Data Validation: Ensure that the registers have the necessary data and are in a consistent state. You may need to check for any missing or incorrect entries in the register data.
- Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or help resources for specific details on the simulation types and their applicability to different registers.
