    Allocation date for meter reading

    System Response

This date is used during billing and preliminary demand processing for
allocating the meter reading result to a month. The date is assigned
chronologically. For example, if demand is entered on 04/29/1999, you
can use an allocation date so that the allocation takes place in May
(05/05/1999). The result is allocated to a season via the day and the
month of the allocation date. For example, a meter reading with
allocation date 06/17/1998 takes place during the summer period, from
06/15/1998 to 09/15/1998. You define the season via a season-dependent
operand in the facts or the rate.
